Frank has worked in many fields over his career. In New York City, Frank worked doing graphics for post-production television working on such programs as MTV's The BIG PICTURE.

He is a accomplished artist and illustrator, and has done freelance illustration work for books and magazines for many years. Clients include Pittsburgh Magazine, Harvard Magazine , Business Week, Seattle Arts Magazine, and Harcourt Publishing. Frank is a member of Associated Artist of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators, and has exhibited artwork both in New York and Pittsburgh.

Frank graduated from Carnegie Mellon University 1982 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree. There he met his wife Tomasina, and together they owned and operated Tomasina, Inc., a bridal house where Frank designed both gowns and embroideries, created, photographed, and produced ads that appeared in high fashion magazines such as Vogue and Bride's Magazine, and designed and maintained the Web site. Tomasina's gowns can be seen nation-wide in high end boutiques such as Saks Fifth Ave.
