Branding, Repositioning, Marketing Communications and Public Relations

Challenge:
Armstrong is a sister company to Gustine, and has been primarily involved with construction of its own properties. The firm wanted to expand beyond the regional market to focus on retail construction management on a national level and to establish itself as a national leader in retail construction management.

Solution:
An endorsed identity was developed to position Armstrong as a leading division of multi-billion dollar parent company, Armstrong, Inc. In addition, a branded method of construction planning and supervision was defined and publicized in trade publications. Public relations created name recognition and credibility on a national scale. Initiatives included:
  1. developing a marketing and branding strategy
  2. developing a new brand and logo
  3. creating national editorial placements
Result:
The firm has been invited to bid on twice the number of projects from the previous year, and is not positioned as a national, rather than a regional company.
